The Lost Stork - Cook Book
My wonderful friend over at "Finding Family with Empty Arms" Meghan is having her first fund raiser for the Lost Stork Foundation.
In hopes of helping couples sooner than later, we are putting together a cookbook to include recipes from all over the world! Infertility and adoption know no boundaries so why should we limit the recipes collected? We will include a map indicating where all the recipes have come from as well, uniting all of us who know someone that has had their lives touched personally by infertility or adoption!
Please go check out her blog - Wanted: Your recipes

Ting ting ting.....
I don't normally post PG related stuff on here, since we are more concerned about the actual getting pregnant side of things. BUT, my friend N (who I LOVE just BTW hehe) showed me an interesting site this morning for PG ladies.
At first I thought she was joking. Like seriously, a bell? Hanging by your PG belly. I had visions of N running around the house, ting-a-ling-ning all day long. Ja whatever. You can get bells at your local craft store for R4.00 I said. She said NO, go look at the site..... Then I clicked on the site. Now I want one, and I'm not even PG LOL
Pregnant ladies wear these bells low on their bellies so that the baby can hear the calming sound of the chime and after birth they can be hung above the baby's crib and rung when the baby is upset or uneasy.
Go have a look at Mystic Bells. My personal fav is the Lotus Heart and Motif Heart.
I'm thinking TTC ladies, you got to add this to your list. Show your partner this really beautiful pendant and kind of hint that it would make a lovely "Thank you for falling pregnant" gift. ;-)

Some good news from Conceive Plus
I often get some great "success stories" from my supplier of the Conceive Plus Lubricant. Thought I would share this one with you:
Dear Conceive Plus
I had to contact you because I think your produce actually does work! I'm sorry if that sounds flippant, but after 7 yrs of male infertility factor we've spent a fortune on 'remedies'.
I'm also 41 and have an 8 yr old daughter, who was conceived with no problems. We've also had three failed IVFs, acupuncture, herbal 'stuff'' etc....nothing worked.
Anyway, I bought your product by chance as it was on the chemist's counter...started using it and bang! After two months I was pregnant! Unfortunately I had a 7 week miscarriage. We still kept on using it over the 5 or so months after that and amazingly, I'm pregnant again!!
It has to be your product as that's the only thing over the last 6 months that we've done differently.
So thank you so much!! Please pass my thanks on to the scientists??? product developers?? I have already posted your info on the British BabyWorld site/infertility forum and will be telling ANYONE with male infertility issues about your product.
Keep you fingers crossed for us this time and thank you, again.
Regards
Lisa

Some times you just have to laugh
My dear friend Em forwarded me an infertility blog. 999 Reasons to Laugh at Infertility. I just started reading it, and thought I would share it with you all.
My personal favourite Acronym: YHTBITYALSDYT and ILAMVDMTILAMH, Click here to read the meanings. LOL
And this entry.... OMG..... I have so done this, many times. BLUSH, and felt the same way each time: Re-pee

Anything new going on?
With the start of the new year, I was wondering if any of you have decided to do anything "new" on the TTC front. Have you read about any interesting supplements or new techniques that could help other couples out? Care to share?
Thought I would also maybe refresh your memory with regards to the SPERM MEETS EGG PLAN:
Sounds intriguing enough doesn’t it. The SMEP can give you a better opportunity of ensuring that the sperm gets to your egg. Obviously if you have blocked tubes or other physical conditions preventing conception including NOT ovulating, this plan will not work for you.
Warning: This plan requires some serious BDing, so make sure you are up for it.
Click here to read THE PLAN and just in case you were wondering where you were going to find affordable OPKs, CLICK HERE :)

Just a quick hello from Making Babies!
I hope the New Year brings in plenty of BFP!!!
We are busy changing the look of the Support Group, so bare with us while I change colours and fonts and templates. I'm quite indecisive right now.
Have an awesome week! I know plenty of you are heading back to the grind stone, to those who are still on a break... enjoy!!
